Edmonton’s newest and chirpiest indie art market, OddBird Art & Craft Fair, is landing in Old Strathcona for TWO WEEKENDS this winter: November 29 – December 1, and December 6-8. Their winter lineup features 100+ artists and community arts organizations from Edmonton and beyond. Get ready for colourful ceramics, indie literature, intricate beadwork, hand-dyed textiles, kids toys, art prints, and much more! They have fresh coffee and snacks on site all weekend long. Admission is $5 at the door, and kids get in free!
OddBird Art & Craft Fair operates in Amiskwaciwâskahikan ᐊᒥᐢᑲᐧᒋᐋᐧᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ on Treaty Six Territory: the ancestral and traditional territory of the Cree, Métis, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux, and Nakota Sioux. We express gratitude and respect for the land that we use, and for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders.
The OddBird team is comprised of past vendors and organizers of The Royal Bison. Following the Bison’s retirement in 2023, the team flocked together to create a new art & craft fair.
OddBird supports birds of all feathers, and will work to foster a welcoming and supportive environment for the vendor community.
OddBird Art & Craft Fair is ready to come home for the holidays with its first-ever Winter Fair!
Join us over 2 weekends (Nov 29 – Dec 1 and Dec 6-8!) in the heart of Old Strathcona, where artists, designers and makers from Edmonton and beyond will serve up all things weird and wonderful.
